Qurious Rodeo HB aka Midnight is proudly offered for sale as a phenomenal junior/amateur friendly 3-ring prospect who would also greatly enjoy eventing and fox hunting. Since day one, he has a great mind for learning and a love of people. During his BWP inspection, he was a premium foal, site champion.
Midnight has a striking appearance that will shine in the arena, His bloodlines really shine through with this sweet boy! The talent, athleticism, conformation, and ride-ability of his sire, Schwarzenegger and damsire, Ravel are easily seen and felt under saddle and on the ground. He has incredible personality, really living up to his registered name, as he is curious and sweet. Currently standing at 18hh, this gentle giant has tremendous bone, gorgeous angles and feet, and is an excellent prospect for junior, amateur, and professional alike. He walks around a course and has lovely and careful form over fences: square and even knees and a lovely bascule. His workmanlike attitude and love of jumping heartily compliment his striking black appearance and eye catching chrome.
Midnight has blossomed into a reliable, honest, and exceptionally talented young horse. He has been schooling in a simple lozenge snaffle and has a metronome like canter and engages easily, yet is light in your hand.
He loads, stands for the farrier and the dentist. His coggins and vaccinations are up to date. He cross ties and loves baths. He has a lifetime USEF number. He recently attended Dressage at Devon's Breed show and received tremendous accolades.
During this past winter, he was at Ocala WEC competing in the 2'6' hunter classes gaining experience and settled in very well, enjoying the "horse show life" and excelling in the chaotic environment of a large indoor arena complete with bleachers, a gigantic Jumbotron and loudspeakers. He has completed at local A shows as venues continue to open post-Covid.
Currently, Midnight is looking forward to Ohio WEC, where we expect his dazzling looks and game attitude to develop even more, as he gains more show experience. The delightful young gentleman is exceeding all expectations.
Do not let his height concern you; he looks spectacular under saddle with riders ranging in height from 5'5" to 6'0"!
There are a current set of xrays available for an additional fee, as well as a complete set from April 2019.
We are also offering Midnight's own custom County jumping saddle at a fair price so he is ready to go work, as our gentle giant is indeed a big boy.
